Elvira Hamilton, formerly of Greenwich Village and South Dewey Place in Montauk, died on Saturday at the Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton after a long illness. Ms. Hamilton, who was known as Ellie, was 86. A memorial service will be held in the fall.
