A memorial service for Denise Gorgone, the former owner of Sam’s Auto Service and Mrs. Sam’s Bait and Tackle in East Hampton, will take place on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sam’s Auto at 324 Three Mile Harbor Road. Mrs. Gorgone died on Oct. 20 at the age of 79.
The famously brief Am O’Gansett Parade will begin Saturday at 12:01 p.m., led this year by Jim Lubetkin as grand marshal.
