BRUCE COLLINS

The epitome of what they used to call “finest kind,” Collins has led a distinguished career marked by public service and maritime expertise. His dedication to the community is evident through his roles as East Hampton Town Supervisor, town board member, superintendent of highways, and the village’s superintendent of public works. Collins spent a large part of the 1950s and 1960s on the water as a commercial fisherman and boat pilot. He has also served as vice president of the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation, and has a rather astounding visual artistic eye, on top of all that.
