Guild Hall in East Hampton kicks off its summer series of KidFest shows this week with Mario the Maker Magician on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Described as "contagiously upbeat and full of heart," Mario the Maker's shows are "an all-ages theater experience," according to Guild Hall.

He has appeared on "Sesame Street," "Universal Kids," and live on tour with David Blaine in shows that are a mix of classic vaudeville, robotics, and "mind-blowing magic."

Tickets for the show, available online through Guild Hall's website, are $29, or $26.50 for Guild Hall members.

Next up in the series will be the circus artists Parallel Exit on July 16, Dance Theatre of Harlem on July 23, and the Little Mermen on Aug. 6.
