Local musicians will be performing for free on the Montauk Green every Monday from next week through September, courtesy of the Montauk Chamber of Commerce. Music fans are encouraged to take dinner, refreshments, and a blanket or beach chair. Starting off this series Monday at 6 is Joe Delia and Friends.

With five Mondays in July that means five local bands will take the Montauk Green while summer is in full swing. Look out for Bingo Bango on July 1, Lynn Blue Band on July 8, Steven Tekulsky Band on July 15, the Dog Watchers on July 22, and The Realm on July 29.

The music continues every week through Labor Day.
