D'Amico House Open for a Tour on Friday

There will be a free tour Friday at 11 a.m. of the D'Amico Studio and Archive at 128 Shore Road, Lazy Point.

The house was built in the 1940s and showcases the "creatively prolific lives" of Victor and Mabel D'Amico, featuring "ingenious functional aspects like cabinetry integrated beneath the stairway, unique lighting and electrical systems, sculptural door casings, and hand-glazed glass tile countertops, all designed, created, and installed by Mabel and Victor," according to a release.
