PSEG to Unveil East Hampton Transmission Line Project

Mon, 11/18/2024 - 15:27

During an information session on Wednesday night at LTV Studios in Wainscott, PSEG Long Island will present its plans to build an underground transmission line between its substations in East Hampton and Bridgehampton.

From 5 to 8 p.m., interested residents can learn more about the project, which would extend a 69-kilovolt transmission line from the substation on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike to PSEG's East Hampton facility on Cove Hollow Road. The planned route would pass through Sag Harbor by way of Jermain Avenue and other side streets.

In announcing the information session, East Hampton Town described it as a "a great opportunity to get all the information you need directly from PSEG Long Island."

LTV Studios is at 75 Industrial Road.
