Nancy Atlas Is Next Up in Main Beach Concert Series

Thu, 07/27/2023 - 13:53

The South Fork's own home-grown rock star Nancy Atlas will play to the crowd at the free Tuesday night concert at Main Beach this week.

Music runs from 6 to 8 and parking is free to all starting at 5. The lots fill up quickly, so the earlier you arrive, the less likely you'll be walking down from Lily Pond Lane or Lee Avenue, where police also allow parking during the weekly shows. Lifeguards are on duty for the evening and the Beach Hut concession at the pavilion is open throughout.

Hello Brooklyn, regulars at the Stephen Talkhouse among other local music venues, will perform at Main Beach on Aug. 8. (The Star jumped ahead a week in print in reporting that they would be featured this Tuesday.) The band on Aug. 15 will be Rubix Kube, and the band on Aug. 22 has yet to be announced. On Aug. 29, it'll be Real East End Brass, and Rum Punch Mafia is on the schedule for the final concert of the season on Sept. 5.
