Congregation Taking Applications for 'High Impact' Grants

Fri, 01/27/2023 - 10:33

In the last three years, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork in Bridgehampton has granted $116,000 to 18 different nonprofit and grassroots organizations in or servicing any of the five East End towns plus the Shinnecock Nation.

Now and until March 31, the congregation is accepting new applications. This year the High Impact Community Outreach program will focus on the uncertain economic environment, targeting those with children, families with low incomes, or those who need help supporting aging parents.

Organizations with East End offices that can provide food and shelter or financial and legal education, foster diversity, or promote animals helping people are eligible. The website to visit is uucsf.org/hico-overview. Questions can be directed to [email protected] or 631-537-0132.
