Advocacy Funding Available

Thu, 03/24/2022 - 10:04

For the third year, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork in Bridgehampton is welcoming applications from East End nonprofit groups, grassroots organizations, and national organizations with East End offices for cash grants. Its High Impact Community Outreach program was funded with a bequest from Paul Berman, a member of the Unitarian congregation who died in 2016.

Grants will be awarded to organizations that serve L.G.B.T.Q. people, single adults, young adults, or people of color and who work on equal access to opportunities, including technology, jobs, training, and education, advocacy, environmental justice, or mental health issues. Details about the application process is at uucsf.org/hico-overview. The deadline for submissions is April 30.
