Two popular community gatherings, the Amagansett Fire Department's chicken barbecue and the Eastville Community Historical Society's fish fry, will return to traditional formats this year.

The Eastville group will have its annual fish fry on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at its Heritage House at 139 Hampton Street in Sag Harbor. The cost is $30 per person and includes dinner, a beverage, and dessert. It will be held rain or shine.

In Amagansett, the Fire Department's yearly barbecue will return on Aug. 15 from 2 to 6 p.m. Admission is $25 for adults, $15 for children. Tickets are available from department members.
