Lots of interesting things are happening in Sag Harbor this weekend and beyond.

An interfaith Thanksgiving service will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Temple Adas Israel.

A trunk show of home accessories curated by Melissa Overton, a former creative director at New York City's Museum of Modern Art Design Store, and hand-loomed sweaters, shawls, and ponchos designed by Jasmine Aarons, the founder of Voz, a clothing store in Manhattan, will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Matriark on Main Street.

Need to gather yourself before the holiday frenzy begins? The John Jermain Memorial Library is offering a 20-minute meditation class on Tuesday at 10 a.m. over Zoom. It will continue weekly at the same time through Dec. 22. On Friday, Nov. 27, an adult trivia contest will be held at 7 p.m. Registration is on the library's website, johnjermain.org.

Call ‘Flesh Eating’ Alarmist

The Vibrio vulnificus “flesh eating” bacterium “is not unusual in warm saltwater or brackish environments and does not necessarily indicate pollution or a widespread public health emergency,” the Southampton Town Trustees said in an advisory issued following a social media post that went viral.
