Get those pumpkins and tools ready — it's almost time for the Bridgehampton Lions Club's annual pumpkin-carving contest. This year, the contest will take place at a new location, the Bridgehampton Museum's Corwith House, instead of the community house across the street, and will have a different format than in years past.

It's "one big, all ages, freestyle contest," the club said in its announcement, "with 10 $100 awards." Masks are required for participation.

Entries can be set up between noon and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, and the display will remain through the next day. Lighting of the pumpkins will be at 6 p.m. each day. Prejudging is Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m., and winners will be announced the next day, also at 6:30.

The Bridgehampton Museum is at 2368 Montauk Highway. More information and rules are available online at bridgehamptonlions.org.
