A Side of Sunset
Inlet Seafood in Montauk is once again offering its Locals Night on Thursdays, when diners get 25 percent off "your entire bill," according to the restaurant's social media page. On Sunday kids eat free starting at 4:30 p.m. 

At Cedar Point County Park, Sunset Pizza and Spirits remains open but has adjusted its hours for the "shoulder season." The spot is now open Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. 

Both spots are among the best around for sunset viewing.

Specials From Arthur and Sons
Arthur and Sons in Bridgehampton will serve happy hour and a two-course prix fixe menu every Wednesday through Sunday. Happy hour, which will be offered from 4:30 to 6:30 at the bar only, will include half-price appetizers and salads, $12 house wines, $15 specialty cocktails, $6 draft beers, and $12 house spirits (plus $3 for martinis).

The $42.95 prix fixe menu is available all night Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and Friday and Saturday until 6:30. Appetizer options include Caesar salad, chopped salad, meatballs, fried calamari, fried mozzarella, and, with a surcharge, baked clams oreganata and creamy burrata with arugula and tomato.

Among the main courses are chicken Parmigiana, chicken piccata, chicken Marsala, chicken Francese, spicy rigatoni, fusilli Bolognese, and eggplant Parmigiana. Surcharges apply to chicken alla vodka and shrimp Francese. Desserts are $9.95.

Aperitivo at Baker House
Aperitivo, a.k.a. happy hour, happens at Baker House 1650 in East Hampton on Thursday, next Thursday, and Sept. 25, Sept. 26, and Sept. 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. Curated cocktails, wine, and beer will be on offer at the self-described "private oasis."

Later Start
Fresno in East Hampton, which had announced its fall specials last week, has opted to hold off on the specials until after Columbus Day weekend. 
 

Beach Hut to Stay on Main

East Hampton Village announced this week that the current occupant of the village-owned concession at the Main Beach pavilion, Susan Seekamp’s Beach Hut on Main, won the bid to continue operating for five more years.
