Four Win Athletic Club Scholarships

Montauk Mile and the Old Montauk Athletic Club have announced this year’s OMAC East Hampton High School senior scholarship winners. Each will receive $1,000.

Brynley Lys, the softball team’s catcher, was named female athlete of the year. She will attend the University of South Carolina in the fall.

Liam Knight, a track and swim athlete, is the male athlete of the year. He will continue swimming and running next year at Roger Williams College in Rhode Island.

Lylah Metz was named the Bill O’Donnell swimmer of the year. She is going to SUNY Oneonta next fall.

Sean Perez, a three-season runner, was named the John Conner runner of the year. He’s heading to the University of Tampa.
