Guild Hall at CMEE

Guild Hall's next KidFest offering, Cirquetacular, will take place at the Children's Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton on Wednesday. Artistic acrobatic and aerial feats are sure to delight children and adults alike. Showtime is 6 p.m., and tickets are $20 for kids and $30 for adults.

Looking ahead, Guild Hall will partner with the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in Springs for a drip-painting workshop for the whole family, including children ages 4 and up, on Aug. 21 at noon. Admission for a family of up to four is $50, or $35 for members. Tickets for all events can be bought online at guildhall.org.

Sea Salt at SoFo

The South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center in Bridgehampton has a few ways for kids of all ages to get outdoors.

On Saturday at 10 a.m., at a beach location to be announced, kids can learn about sea salt and even begin harvesting their own with Michele Martuscello, founder of Shelly Sells Sea Salt. Participants should be ready to get their feet wet and should take a bucket, Ziploc container, or other vessel with a lid to collect water. Admission is $10 for children and $15 for adults.

SoFo's Young Birders Club will meet on Sunday at 10 a.m. for kids ages 8 and up who are interested in learning about and observing birds. Participants should take binoculars and a field guide if they have them, or they can borrow them from the museum (limited supplies available).

On Wednesday at 4 p.m., the team from the Shark Research and Education Program will give an update on the field work it has been conducting. Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis. Advance registration is required for all SoFo programs and can be done by emailing [email protected] or calling 631-537-9735.

Picasso, Painting, Play Dough

The teen take-and-make art project this weekend is shell painting with puffy paints, with supplies that can be picked up tomorrow in the young-adult room between 3 and 5 p.m. A version of this activity for kids entering grades six to eight will be offered on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Keith Leaf, comedian and juggler extraordinaire, will perform for all ages under the library's tent on Sunday at 2 p.m. Monday's story time session at 11:30 a.m. for toddlers up to 3 years old will have a train theme. On Wednesday at 3 p.m., children ages 3 to 5 are invited to make silly creatures with play dough. Advance registration is required for all library programs.

Fox Tales

WonderSpark Puppets will visit the Southampton Arts Center next Thursday at 4 p.m. for "Fox Fables," a story about a fox who loses his tail and tries on new animal identities. Admission is free, but advance ticket reservations are required at southamptonartscenter.org.
