Teen Creative Studio at Guild Hall
Through its Teen Arts Council, Guild Hall is offering a monthly creative studio program for high school students. It starts Tuesday with a virtual creative writing and spoken-word jam session with Andrina Wekontash Smith as the guest teaching artist. The program is from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and advance registration at guildhall.org is required. Future programs, including fashion up-cycling and candle-making, will be held in person.

Quartet to Perform
The Hampton Youth Quartet, featuring Kristina Georges and Tessa Arnzen on violin, Julian Misut on viola, and Charlotte Arnzen on cello, will give an online performance on Sunday through the Southampton Cultural Center. They will play classics and modern favorites at 4 p.m. at facebook.com/SHCulturalCenter.

Stories, Art, and Animals
Kevin Luthardt will lead a virtual story time and drawing lesson for children in prekindergarten through the third grade today at 4 p.m. through the East Hampton Library. Mr. Luthardt is the author and illustrator of several books including "Larabee," "Hats," and "Flying!" The program will be on Zoom, and sign-up ahead of time is required via the event calendar at easthamptonlibrary.org.

The library's teen take-and-make art project this weekend is a rainbow wreath, just in time for St. Patrick's Day. Also for teens, the library will have a Bob Ross-style paint party via Zoom on Saturday at 3 p.m. Kits can be picked up at the library tomorrow afternoon.

Looking ahead to next Thursday, the library has a live virtual program all about frogs, bugs, and other animals. The all-ages family event is at 4 p.m., and advance registration is required at the same link. Questions can be directed to 631-324-0222, extension 2.

Springtime Puppets
Minkie the Monkey, a character created by Goat on a Boat Puppet Theater, will star in a live, spring-themed Zoom performance next Thursday via the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor. The free performance is from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and is appropriate for kids ages 4 to 7. Registration is online through the event calendar at johnjermain.org.
