The fifth annual Holiday Makers Market will happen at The Church in Sag Harbor on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with over 20 local vendors.
Art and creativity are the focus on the building’s studio level, where a pop-up print show and sale of one-of-a-kind monoprints will be on view. The works were created by East End artists who participated in The Church’s monotype printmaking workshops.
The venue’s merch shop will be stocked with unique art books, and Andrew Caynon will be on hand to sketch portraits of visitors. Eric Fischl and April Gornik, The Church’s co-founders, will sign copies of their books along with other artists to be announced. Cakes and light bites from the Cookery will also be for sale.
The main floor and mezzanine are where the vendors can be found, along with the current exhibition, “Here and There: The First Churchennial.” The vendors will include beadwork by Tohanash Tarrant’s Thunderbird Designs; candles by Brittany Torres’s Hamptons Handpoured; ceramics by Beverly Granger (Pots by Bebe) and Tea, Clay, Smoke; clothing by Brooke Bofill’s BB Art Design, Julia Dawson’s Electric Merch Co., and Melissa Stasi-Thomas’s Little Miss Sew It All, and glasswork by Trefny Dix and Bengt Hokanson’s HokansondixGlass and Idee Simon.
Also available will be handbags and accessories from Julia King’s Wild Muse Eclectic; beauty products from Cora Diaz, Kim Gatti’s Montauk Soap Co., and Merilyn Konnerth’s Utopia Bath Ltd.; home goods from Marcia Bayard’s 8 Knots, Monika Gawlowska’s Flutter Labs, and Riin Hansalu; jewelry from Rebekah Harris’s The Shipwreck and Janice Jaworski’s Beads and Boards; knitwear from Gretchen Comly; perfumes from Irina Adam’s Phoenix Botanicals; sculpture by Dorothy Frankel, and woodwork from Matt and Lisa DiGirolamo’s Harbor Woodwork.
On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the adoption vehicle from Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will be stationed in the parking lot with animals for adoption. East End Jazz will perform a holiday concert in the library on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 2.
Tickets are $5 per day at the door, free for children 12 and under.
