ARF Auction
For the first time in three years, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will usher in the summer season with an in-person benefit cocktail party at the ARF Thrift and Treasure Shop in Sagaponack, on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.

However, instead of inviting designers to create fully furnished rooms in the ARF shop as in years past, an online auction will feature an array of furniture and decorative items for the home.

Guests will be offered wine and hors d'oeuvres and have first dibs on table settings featuring linens, dinnerware, and other items by David Monn, Everyday Elegance, Kim Seybert, Katherine Rayner, and other designers.

Items on auction, which will open for bidding on Saturday and run through June 7, include a Mario Bellini dining table, a framed Bill Tansey "Poppies" photograph, a late Louis XVI giltwood barometer, and a dog-bone-shaped bench by John Dickerson.

Tickets for the cocktail party are $200 in advance, $225 at the door.
