Roadside Art on View in East Hampton

Kai Parcher-Charles spent his time in isolation in the studio of his step father, Perry Burns. They will both displaying their work at Art Apart.

"Art Apart," a roadside art exhibition open to all East Hampton residents, will populate the town's byways with a variety of artworks on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sponsored by the East Hampton Arts Council and organized by Idoline Duke, the list of participating artists includes Perry Burns, Scott Bluedorn, Peter Spacek, Jane Martin, Janet Jennings, and Barbara Thomas.

Jane Parkes will exhibit her daily cartoon series, which follows her personal journey through this time of social isolation at Art Apart.

Star Academy Students Toast Smokey Buns

Smokey Buns, a conveniently located burger joint, and Scoop and Waffle, a sweet little ice cream spot, off Park Place in East Hampton, were the perfect spots for the students of The Star’s Summer Academy to have a casual meal together on a Friday afternoon and try their hands at restaurant reviewing.
