Fund-Raiser to Rescue Dogs in Ukraine

Thu, 07/14/2022 - 11:00

No Dogs Left Behind, which rescues canines from the illegal dog meat trade in East Asia and works to place them with caring owners, will host a cocktail party and silent auction to raise money for rescue efforts in Ukraine and Hungary Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Bridgehampton.

Guests will be able to bid on silent auction prizes and enjoy beer, wine, and light bites under the tent.

Those wishing to R.S.V.P. and buy tickets, which cost $100, have been asked to visit bit.ly/ndlbhamptonstickets. All money raised will go toward rescuing and transporting dogs in peril as well as providing medical care, food, and a safe haven as they await being matched with families.

Anyone who is unable to attend but would like to donate to the group’s work can visit bit.ly/3yNyEoo.

Information about sponsorship opportunities can be had by emailing [email protected] or calling 631-599-0866.

No Dogs Left Behind operates sanctuaries in East Asia and Toronto. C.W.
