Patrick and Joan Lyons of Three Mile Harbor-Hog Creek Road in Springs have announced the engagement of their daughter Jillian Lyons to Jonathan Gil, the son of Omar and Carmen Gil of Miami.
The couple became engaged in Giverny, France, while visiting the painter Claude Monet’s gardens in September. They live in New York City.
Ms. Lyons, a graduate of East Hampton High School, has a bachelor’s degree in musical theater from Dean College in Franklin, Mass., and is a general manager for a private restaurant group in Manhattan.
Mr. Gil has degree in audio engineering from Full Sail University in Florida and works as an engineer and director for audio and publishing companies. A ceremony is planned for the fall of 2020.
