Three Ways to Pay Taxes in East Hampton Village

Thu, 08/07/2025 - 10:36

It’s property tax time in East Hampton Village, which is again offering three ways for residents to submit payments.

As of Friday, tax bills are available through the village’s website, where residents can pay online for an additional fee. Payments can also be mailed in or submitted in person.

To start the online process, a taxpayer must follow the link at the top of the homepage, easthamptonvillage.org, and provide a last name, legal street address, or bill number. The taxpayer must also enter contact and billing information. Once the payment is submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to the address provided. The fee is a flat rate of $1.95 when paying with an electronic check or 2.9 percent when paying with a credit or debit card. The online payment system will not be accessible between the hours of 1:45 and 5 a.m. on Thursdays for routine maintenance.

For mailed payments, the address of Village Hall is 86 Main Street in East Hampton. The due date is Aug. 31.
