Guild Hall’s annual Summer Gala announced a surprising last minute plus-one this evening.

Questlove, of the band the Roots and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," will be the D.J. for the after party beginning at 9 p.m. A few tickets are still available in several categories including dinner, cocktails, and dancing and dessert. The dessert and dancing tickets are $250. Young patron tickets, for those between the ages of 21 and 40, are $100 for cocktails, dessert, and dancing. Tickets can be purchased on Guild Hall’s website.

This year’s gala celebrates the opening of “Avedon’s America” and honors Bonnie Lautenberg, the photographer and the wife of New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg, who died in 2013. April Gornik will host the benefit. The attire is black and white.
