Fri, 05/24/2019 - 13:07
As of Wednesday afternoon, bids for two V.I.P. tickets to "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" were up to $2,550.

There is less than a day left to bid on three experiences provided in the Guild Hall holiday benefit auction.

The East Hampton arts institution is offering bidders a chance to see a taping of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," two tickets to the new "King Kong" show on Broadway, and tickets for four to the Big Apple Circus.

The "Tonight Show" voucher includes two V.I.P. tickets to the show and a meal at Bar 65 at the top of Rockefeller Center. A meet-and-greet with Mr. Fallon is not part of the package. The tickets and meal voucher will be valid through Jan. 3, 2020. The current bid as of this writing was $2,550. The package has an estimated value of $2,750.

"King Kong" is a musical that goes back to the story set in 1931 in which an actress charms a giant ape and then is forced to make a difficult choice, with music by Marius de Vries and Eddie Perfect and book by Jack Thorne. The two producer house seats are up to $750 as of this writing, with an estimated value of $1,000. This offer is also valid through Jan. 3, 2020.

The Big Apple Circus experience is for four ringside seats and a chance to meet the dogs and horses featured in the show on a backstage tour. Dinner at Fiorello's near Lincoln Center is included. The tickets include access to the V.I.P. lounge. The circus closes on Jan. 27 of this year, so the tickets must be claimed before then. That package is valued at $1,500, with a bid of $988 as of this writing.
