Vito Brullo of East Hampton died on Monday at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 78. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery on Cedar Street. An obituary will appear in a future issue.

Item of the Week: The A.O. Jones Hardware Store

This photograph from the C. Frank Dayton Photo Collection at the East Hampton Library shows the A.O. Jones Hardware Store at 51 Newtown Lane. Owned by Asa O. Jones (1857-1953), it later became East End Hardware and today is A.L.C., a clothing store.
