Florence Lainhart Thiele of Mariner Sands, a private community in Stuart, Fla., died of congestive heart failure on Friday. A summer resident of East Hampton, she was 94. There will be a memorial at the Mariner Sands Chapel in May. An obituary will appear in a future issue.

Lighthouse Weekend and Other Montauk Fun

The public is invited to celebrate the Montauk Lighthouse, a national historic landmark, on Saturday and Sunday, when the Third New York Regiment will show off their Revolutionary War uniforms and accouterments, and the Kings of the Coast Pirates will perform on the Lighthouse stage. And downtown, the Montauk Artists Association is holding its second art show and sale of the summer.
