A Resource Fair for Veterans

Suffolk County Legislator Ann Welker, in partnership with East Hampton Town Supervisor Kathee Burke-Gonzalez, the Suffolk Office of Veterans Service Agency, and Long Island Cares Veterans Outreach will host a veterans resource fair at the American Legion Hall on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be presentations by Marcelle Leis and James C. Brennan, director and deputy director of the Suffolk Veterans Service Agency. Those seeking more information have been asked to send an email to [email protected]

A guided tour of the East Hampon Town Marine Museum on Bluff Road, a former naval barracks built during World War II, will be offered in conjunction with the veterans resource fair at the American Legion Hall. The tour is free for those attending the fair and members of the Historical Society, $12 for nonmembers. bit.ly/42cJPFv.

Donations Sought for Jamaica

Alayah Hewie, the owner of the Hamptons-based Jamaican patty company Rena’s Dream Patties, has organized a Container of Love Drop-Off Day to collect donations for Jamaica hurricane relief from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Green Thumb Organic Farm Stand in Water Mill.
