Free Music in Montauk, Times Three

Wed, 07/03/2024 - 14:21

Beginning this Sunday, and running until the last weekend in August, Gosman’s Dock will host free concerts on its outdoor stage from 6 to 8 p.m. The Nancy Atlas Project will kick off this series and on July 14, the Hoodoo Loungers will be on the stage.

This week the concert series on the downtown green will feature the Lynn Blue Band on Monday at 6. The Montauk Chamber of Commerce has encouraged music fans to take dinner, refreshments, and a blanket or beach chair.

The Montauk Library will also host a free concert on Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. when the Jordan Shapiro Trio presents “Seafaring: Ballads and Folk Music of Long Island’s Maritime Past.” Mr. Shapiro is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist who has been performing in various styles of music for over 20 years.
