Terry Sullivan, a singer, filmmaker, and writer from Sag Harbor, will present a program of Irish songs, including some in Gaelic, along with short historical tales and comedic anecdotes at the Cormaria Retreat House in Sag Harbor on Sunday afternoon.

"As the Irish say: "laughin' jes' to keep from cryin'," Mr. Sullivan said in an announcement.

The concert is free and begins at 1 p.m., but advance sign-up ahead of time is required at 631-725-2789. Lunch, for which there is a charge, follows the Mr. Sullivan's program.

Mr. Sullivan is also a producer of an LTV show called “Whatever You Say, Say Nothin’,” which can be viewed on Channel 20 in East Hampton Town, at ltveh.org, or on the public access station's YouTube channel.
