One More Tuesday Night Concert at Main Beach

Tue, 09/05/2023 - 12:34

The day after Labor Day, affectionately known in resort communities like ours as Tumbleweed Tuesday, can be bittersweet: Summer is unofficially over, school's back in session, and it no longer takes a half-hour to drive five miles. On Tuesday, the East Hampton Village Foundation and the East Hampton Kiwanis Club will highlight the sweet during the final Tuesday night Main Beach concert of the season at 6.

Rum Punch Mafia will serve up the music. Village lifeguards will face off against police officers and firefighters in a "land vs. sea" tug of war. The winners will get an engraved trophy plus bragging rights. Beach parking will be free starting at 5 p.m. Lifeguards will be on duty, and the Beach Hut concession at the pavilion will be open for business.
