Thursday Is Shred Day in Bridgehampton

Tue, 04/18/2023 - 15:21

Rectangular mountains of paper getting you down? Drawers full? File cabinets flowing over? This Thursday, the Bridgehampton Fire Department, at 64 School Street, and the Hampton Library are co-sponsoring a Shred Day to help you move past the piles from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A-Shred-Away, Inc. will handle the on-site shredding of your personal documents, and the paper will be recycled at a certified paper mill.

No plastic, carbon paper, hanging files, cardboard, newspaper, or magazines can be shredded. Clips and staples, however, are okay.

More information can be had by phoning 631-537-0015, or online at myhamptonlibrary.org.
