In what has shifted from a long-ago Independence Day tradition to an end-of-summer favorite, fireworks will light up the sky over Main Beach on Saturday starting around 9 p.m. The show is put on by the East Hampton Fire Department and can be best seen from Main and Wiborg Beaches, but views can also be had across Hook Pond.

The East Hampton Village Foundation will offer guests at its second annual casino night prime viewing spots for the fireworks on Saturday night. The party takes place at the Maidstone Tennis Club from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets start at $250 and can be purchased at ehvf.org.
The nonprofit Village Foundation raises money to support programs and projects in the village including the open space and historic preservation, the upcoming renovation of Herrick Park, and the weekly Tuesday night concert series at Main Beach.

Really, really big.
