If ever there was a time to spend money at high-end retailers and local businesses in East Hampton Village, this Thursday afternoon might be it.

From 3 to 7 p.m., shoppers at more than a dozen retail stores in East Hampton Village will see their dollars go even farther, as a portion of the profits from each sale will be donated to the nonprofit Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center. The center is in its 50th year providing affordable childcare services for families and a prekindergarten program for the community's youngest students.

The participating shops are Allison Lou, Brunello Cucinelli, Stevenson's Toys, Lululemon, London Jewelers, Monogram Shop, Peserico, Ralph Lauren, Shoe-Inn, Todd Snyder, Toiles du Soleil, Unsubscribed, Vince, and Zadig and Voltaire.
