Private Garden Tours on Saturday

Thu, 07/21/2022 - 13:48

If you're not already a member of the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons, this week might be a good time to join the group, which is based at the Bridgehampton Community House, as it will host a tour of several private gardens on Saturday for members and their guests, beginning at 10 a.m. with the 17 Hidden Cove Court, Southampton, property of Greg Wiseman.

Memberships start at $10 for students, $45 for individuals, and $75 for families; applications are at hahgarden.org.

Among the horticultural wonders of Mr. Wiseman's property are three water features, one of them a koi pond and waterfall, a new woodland garden, and 40 varieties of Japanese maples. Check-in for the tour is at his property before 11 a.m. There, people will receive directions to the other gardens. Guests of members pay $10 to join the tour.
