From peaceful sunshine over the water to powerful, crashing waves, the beauty of the beach is once again at the heart of Alex Feleppa's latest surf calendar.

For the fifth year in a row, Mr. Feleppa, of East Hampton, is selling a 12-month calendar featuring original photographs he took along the coast of Amagansett and Montauk. "Every calendar I do is the previous year's photos, so it's all local images from 2022 that make up the 2023 calendar," he explained. "I do try to chronicle the year."

The professionally printed calendars cost $50 and can be picked up or shipped. Orders can be placed by sending Mr. Feleppa a message on Instagram, @arborboy, or via email to [email protected].

In the last decade, for example, the “green giant,” a now ubiquitous tree, has been placed along property lines throughout the Hamptons. It’s here to stay, and grow, and grow.
