Turnpike Roadwork Meeting Rescheduled

Update, Oct. 26: Because of heavy rains, Tuesday's meeting about roadwork on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike has been postponed to Nov. 9. A location has yet to be confirmed.

Originally, Oct. 25: Suffolk County Legislator Bridget Fleming and Joe Brown, commissioner of the county's Public Works Department, will hold a community meeting on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. about roadwork and sidewalks on County Road 79, also known as the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike.

The meeting will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork at 977 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status, and social distancing will be practiced. A maximum of 40 attendees will be permitted; those interested can R.S.V.P. to [email protected].
