Tickets for the latter are $30 and available on the theater’s website.

A culinary stroll of the village will start at Il Capuccino at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $50 per person. Patrick McMurray, a champion oyster shucker, will demonstrate his skills at Baron’s Cove from 1 to 6.

For music lovers, Alfredo Merat will perform at K Pasa at 2:30, the Second Hands will be at Berry and Co. at 3:30, Ludmilla and Marcello will play bossa nova at BuddhaBerry at 4:30, and there will be live music at the Faherty store from noon to 6. Keith Leaf, a fire juggler, will be in Steinbeck Park at 2:30 and again at 3:30, and the Fiery Sensations, a troupe of fire dancers, will perform there at 5:30 p.m.

For kids, there will be free glitter tattoos at the Wharf Shop from noon to 3 p.m., free face painting at White’s Apothecary from 1 to 4 and at Stella and Ruby from 2 to 5, and indoor activities at Dodds and Eder from 2 to 5. At 6 p.m., a laser show will light up the sky over the harbor.

The Sweet Smell of Nostalgia at Sagaponack General

Stepping into the new Sagaponack General Store, which reopened yesterday after being closed since 2020, is a sweet experience, and not just because there’s a soft-serve ice cream station on the left and what promises to be the biggest penny candy selection on the South Fork on your right, but because it’s like seeing an old friend who, after some struggle, made it big. Really, really big.
