Mental Health Workshops

Tue, 02/25/2020 - 11:47

As part of the East End Mental Health Initiative, East Hampton Town is offering three workshops in March under the umbrella of "Self Help for Mental Health." Each will focus on a different subject, covering meditation, nutrition, and movement.

Presentations, on consecutive Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., starting March 10, will be in video format, followed by discussions and demonstrations. They will be held in the auditorium at East Hampton Middle School, 76 Newtown Lane.

The first workshop, on meditation, will be led by Linda Byrnes. The following Tuesday, Charlotte Laguardia will address nutrition, and on March 23, Margaret Iannacone will talk about movement.

The programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. More information is available from East Hampton Town's Human Services Department at 631-329-6939. The East End Mental Health Initiative is funded by East Hampton and Southampton Towns with additional support from New York State.
