Chris Paparo, the manager of Stony Brook Southampton's Marine Science Center, is also a birder. On Tuesday at 5, he'll share some of his avian expertise at a virtual Accabonac Protection Committee forum titled "Birding From Your Beach Chair."
Mr. Paparo, known as the Fish Guy, will talk about species that can be easily spotted at East End beaches "just by looking up," according to the Accabonac Protection Committee. Among his other credentials, Mr. Paparo is president of the New York State Outdoor Writers Association and a member of the South Fork Natural History Museum's Shark Research and Education Program.
The Tuesday Zoom session is free. After registering online, people will be emailed a link to the meeting.
