Artists’ Table

Artists’ Table, the Watermill Center’s year-round series of intimate conversations with artists paired with a farm-to-table meal, will feature a presentation by Almond Zigmund, one of its current resident artists, and a locally-sourced meal prepared by Jason Weiner, chef and co-owner of Almond restaurant in Bridgehampton (and Ms. Zigmund’s husband).

Set for Saturday from noon to 2:30, tickets are $125 plus fees.

Different Strokes

The next wine class at East Hampton’s Park Place Wines and Liquors will consider different grapes with similar styles next Thursday at 6 p.m. Classic grapes such as cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, and sauvignon blanc will be poured alongside what the shop calls its “unexpected twins, proving there’s always another delicious path to explore.”

Tickets are $45 and not refundable.

Greek Specials

Elaia Estiatorio restaurant in Bridgehampton is offering a $49 prix fixe menu Monday through Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Among the small plates are grilled octopus and avgolemono soup, while main courses include Greek-style beef and onion stew, grilled chicken skewer, roasted spaghetti squash, and whole grilled branzino.

Opa Happy Hour takes place Monday through Saturday at the bar from 5 to 6:30 and includes $15 select wines, signature cocktails and small plates, and $1 oysters.

On Thursday nights, the restaurant offers steak and lobster or lobster tagliatelle plus a free glass of Elaia red or white wine and happy hour all night at the bar.

La Goulue Is Back

La Goulue Sur Mer restaurant in Southampton will open for the 2026 season tonight with a menu featuring traditional French dishes and Mediterranean-inspired coastal favorites. It is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.

Cookshop to Close

The Loaves and Fishes Cookshop, next door to the Bridgehampton Inn and also owned by Sybille van Kempen and her family, is closing and rumors are swirling about what comes next for the space. For now, Ms. van Kempen is keeping that under wraps. “At this time I can only confirm that something new and exciting is planned,” she said in an email last Thursday. Stay tuned.
