A New Year Begins at John Marshall Elementary

The school year began on Tuesday at the John M. Marshall Elementary School in East Hampton, where 505 students were enrolled as of earlier this week.

Two sisters, Meta and Saule Ngo, showed up together for the big day.

The school psychologist, Marisa Katz, above, greeted students as they arrived.
