Sunrise Circus

Guild Hall’s summerlong KidFest performances will continue on Wednesday when Parallel Exit performs “Sunrise Circus” at 4:30 p.m. The group brings together veterans of productions like Cirque du Soleil and the Big Apple Circus for “a show full of heart, humor, and astonishing feats.”

Tickets, available through Guild Hall’s website, are $29, or $26.50 for Guild Hall members. A free cookie-decorating workshop with treats from Citarella happens before the production at 3:30 p.m.

Next up in the series will be the Dance Theatre of Harlem on July 23.

Screenings, Fun Nights

Among the other happenings for kids this week, the young participants in HamptonsFilm’s junior film camp will screen the short films they made on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the East Hampton Library. Campers, who ranged in age from 8 to 18, learned to tell stories through cinema as part of the camp. There is no charge to attend.

Project Most will provide the pizza, drinks, and fun for kids in second through fourth grade while parents get a few hours to themselves on four upcoming evenings. The Pop! Fun Nights are scheduled for Friday, July 18, July 25, Aug. 1, and Aug. 5, from 6 to 8:30. The cost is $35, and advance registration is required on the Project Most website under the “community programs” tab.

Church Fine-Arts Camp

The Presbyterian Church in East Hampton will be the site of an evening fine-arts camp from Sunday through next Thursday. Open to children in first through sixth grades of all faiths and abilities, it will include lessons in the Bible, voice, music, dance, drama, and set design, as participants work toward staging a musical production next Thursday. The camp “centers around the concept that God is the ultimate artist,” according to the church. It meets from 5 to 7 p.m.

The cost is $25 per child for the week. Registration is through the church’s website, fpceh.org.
