Thu, 06/12/2025 - 13:06
Lily Griffin accepted the Blackmore Family Foundation scholarship, from Summerhill Landscapes, last Thursday.

Among the many awards and scholarships announced at the East Hampton High School senior awards night last Thursday were two from local businesses.

John Shea, left, and Christopher Kelley, right, senior partners with Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo, with the East Hampton winners of the firm's community service scholarship, Jonathan Armijos Calle and Susanna DiSunno.

Jonathan Armijos Calle and Susanna DiSunno were the recipients of community service scholarships from the law firm of Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo. Jonathan volunteered for South Fork Sea Farmers, helping to establish an oyster reef in Springs. He is a member of the National Honor Society and volunteers for a variety of school and community projects. Also an active volunteer in her school and community, Susanna was president of the Kiwanis Key Club and was the student representative on the board of the Sag Harbor Community Band.

Lily Griffin was the winner of the Blackmore Family Foundation scholarship, a $5,000 award presented by Summerhill Landscapes to a graduating senior who plans to study horticulture or landscape architecture. Lily will begin an environmental studies and environmental design program at the University of Colorado, Boulder, in the fall.
