Springs School stepped up its appearance by placing new signs at the school’s entrance on Old Stone Highway.

For years the school had flags at the entrance, which were supposed to be a short-term solution, but the school’s building and grounds committee decided that the signs should match the culture of the school, so it opted for a classic green-and-white sign (the school’s colors) and brick pillars. Emma Field, a school board member, helped design the signs with Ocean Graphics, which fabricated and installed them. Another local business, Wirth & Company, whose owners have children in the school, paid for the signs as a way to give back. Additionally, a local family offered to landscape around the signs to really make them pop.

There has been positive feedback from many parents who are excited to see permanent signs that reflect how wonderful the school is.
