Skate With Santa Claus

A special Christmas Eve ice-skating session will feature a visit from the big man himself, Santa Claus, at Buckskill Winter Club in East Hampton on Saturday.

From 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., kids and teens can glide across the ice to a soundtrack of holiday tunes, and take pictures with Santa and his helpers. Refreshments including hot chocolate, cookies, and soup will be available for purchase.

Buckskill’s standard public-skating admission charge applies. For toddlers 4 and under, the rate is $15 or $20 with skate rental; for kids 5 to 16, admission is $25 or $34 with skate rental, and for adults and teens over 16, it’s $30 or $39 with skate rental.

For general skating, discount packs of five or 10 sessions are available. Friday nights are dedicated to teens, who can take advantage of a cheaper rate, $23 or $30 with skate rental, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A full schedule of skate sessions and other programs is online at buckskillwinterclub.com.
