Teen Trivia

High school students can test their trivia chops at an outdoor trivia contest hosted by the East Hampton Library tomorrow from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. On Saturday at 2 p.m., there will be an outdoor painting activity for teens at the library, which will provide all necessary materials. Registration is required and can be done at easthamptonlibrary.org. Masks and social distancing are mandatory.

The John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor is offering an online trivia contest tomorrow at 5 p.m. for those in grades six through 12. John Jermain also has a teen creative writing workshop online for eighth graders through 12th graders on Thursdays from 7 to 8 p.m. Information and registration links are at johnjermain.org.

Circle Time

For the littlest among us, the Amagansett Library promises songs, rhymes, and silliness during online circle time on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. The program is appropriate for children up to age 3, with a caregiver. Sign-up is by emailing [email protected].

Mountains of Inspiration

The Southampton Arts Center's Youth Global Citizens program, which is for ages 11 to 15, will show a series of inspirational short films from an organization called Mountainfilm at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25. There will be a question-and-answer session with the film program's coordinator, and a pizza and Ping-Pong party afterward, starting at 6 p.m. The cost is $25, and financial assistance is available. Drop-off will be permitted.
