Parrish Art Lessons at Home

Each week, the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill posts a new art project online, with videos for kids to follow along with using everyday household items. Then they can share their creations on social media using the hashtag #ParrishHomeArtStudios. More information is online at parrishart.org/education/parrish-home-art-studios.

Comedy, Bubbles, and Beats

The JJML Live series from the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor continues next Thursday with "Imagine Your Story: A Music, Bubble, and Comedy Show" at 4 p.m. For children of all ages, the group Turtle Dance Music will perform via Zoom, for which advance registration is required.

This morning and next Thursday morning, John Jermain hosts Baby Beats online, featuring stimulating music and dance activities for children up to 4 years old with their parents or caregivers. Registration is required. Information on both programs can be found in the event calendar at johnjermain.org.

Peaceful Places

Teens have been invited to take part in a guided meditation session through the East Hampton Library, in which the goal is to find a peaceful respite from the stress of everyday life. It starts at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Also for teens is an online gaming session with the young-adult librarian today from 4 to 5 p.m. Games such as Drawize and Kahoot are planned, though participants will need two electronic devices to take part. Registration for both programs is at easthamptonlibrary.org.

Read Around Amagansett

The Amagansett Library is encouraging children and adults to take a book to various interesting places in the hamlet. The library has maps the size of postcards for people to follow to beaches or Miss Amelia's Cottage. Can you spot the special decorated rocks at each place? The library can be called at 631-267-3810 to sign up or get more information.

Underwater Photography

The Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum has several online exhibitions for families to explore, such as "The World Below," a cool underwater photography series. More information is at sagharborwhalingmuseum.org.
