Puppets and Plays

Goat on a Boat Puppet Theater is hosting a puppetry and variety camp next week for kids ages 4 to 7 through Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor. The online camp runs Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 11 a.m., and participants will receive a kit filled with materials and activities before the start. The cost is $350. Registration is online at baystreet.org.

Also next week, Bay Street will hold a basic musical theater class for children 4 to 7 at the Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum. Called "Sing! Sing a Song!" the class goes from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and costs $500. There will be a presentation for family and friends on the final day.

Drive-In Movies

The classic Steven Spielberg film "Raiders of the Lost Ark" will be shown tomorrow and "Rocky" will be shown Saturday at the Southampton Elks Lodge at 605 County Road 39, both at 8:30 p.m., as part of the All for the East End charitable drive-in series. Tickets range from $25 to $200 per car. More information is at aftee.org.

The Hamptons International Film Festival also has drive-in movies, shown at the Hayground School in Bridgehampton several times a week. This week's offerings are "The Parent Trap" on Monday and "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" on Wednesday. Information can be found at hamptonsfilm.org.

Teens Clean the Beach

Concerned Citizens of Montauk will host a beach cleanup on Saturday for teenagers to pitch in for the environment. Two two-hour sessions are planned that day, with a rain date of Sunday. The morning group will meet at the beach entrance across from the Montauk I.G.A. and work from 9 to 11. The afternoon group will meet at the corner of South Emerson and South Essex Streets and work from 4 to 6.

Gloves, hand sanitizer, and bags will be provided, and participants have been asked to wear masks. More information can be had by calling C.C.O.M. at 631-238-5720.

Coffee Talk

On Tuesday, a young-adult librarian from the East Hampton Library will demonstrate how to use a French press to make coffee. High school students can sign up to take part in the online coffee klatch by visiting the event calendar at easthamptonlibrary.org.

Pet Sitting 101

Kids and teens entering grades six through 12 can learn how to take care of all kinds of pets, from the four-legged to the finned, with Sag Harbor's John Jermain Memorial Library. A video class will be shown tomorrow and can be watched at one's own pace. Registration is online at johnjermain.org.

Also at the library, Before the Beach Story Time happens online on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for children of all ages.

Fit Kids

The Amagansett Library hosts Fit Kids, a creative movement and exercise class for children ages 7 and up, on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. via Zoom. Sign-up is online at amagansettlibrary.org.
