    Jim Shelly made the difficult decision to leave the Sag Harbor Getty gas and service station because he had no choice, he said Monday.     Kelly Connaughton has been elected as the new president of the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce for 2013. She is the president of the Sag Harbor American Music Festival, which has been a boon to the village’s residents, businesses, and musicians.

    Ms. Connaughton will replace Robert Evjen of the Douglas Elliman real estate company, who has served as president for the past eight years. Mr. Evjen will continue in an advisory capacity and serve as chairman of this year’s HarborFrost festival.

Boat Show Outing
